(More customer reviews)The scanner, itself, works fine. However, the reason I purchased it was because it advertised that all you had to do was select the format and save the scan.
That's wasn't true. The scanner came with Abbyy 2.0 reader. When it would scan only to a Tiff or pdf file, and NOT to Word or Exel, I called the company.
I was told I needed Abbyy 7 reader or better in order to scan to Word or Excel.
That's not what the advertisement stated, nor what it says on the box.
If it states that it will scan to Word, then they should include all that is necessary for it to do that.
But, as a scanner.... if you want pdf or picture files, it works well.
I needed a document scanner. This wasn't it.
