(More customer reviews)I purchased a 1000XL pro about a year and a half ago. Recently it no longer communicated with any computer either through the USB2 port of the firewire. When I contacted Microtek they advised me that they had closed their repair facility and all they would do was offer me a replacement for $ 1000 with a 90 day warranty. The more I peruse the net, the more I see a litany of similar complaints. This company either needs to be taken over by a more reputable firm or closed down. I am amazed they are still in business.
