(More customer reviews)I have a small law firm. We put out a good deal of paper. We print out and copy somewhere around 15,000 pages per month. We had been leasing a big Konica Minolta machine, a BizHub C650. Not only was the machine way too expensive, it was a lemon. It jammed all the time, over and over again. It was noisy. The scanner did not work. It was an expensive piece of junk.
I decided that we had had enough of leasing. I wanted to buy a machine, to save on the financing costs. I thought about getting a used machine of the same class as the Konica, but I was worried that a used machine would just have more problems. I took a hard look at the capacities of the small to mid-range multi-function copiers. I came to the conclusion that our use rate would quickly beat up the machines that cost less than a thousand dollars.
I went with this machine, because it is rated up 20,000 copies a month. It is quite a change from old hulking monster. It is small; it fits on a desk. Except when you are using it, it makes no noise. It is fast; it spits out the paper very quickly. So far, it seems to be a good work horse machine, that gets the job done, simply and easily and causes no hassles.
