I had been using a hinged window-style holder until now, and this thing is way better!
Order your negatives to be developed and left uncut... scanning is so much easier when you can slide the strip forward, scan, slide again, and scan! If you've loaded negatives into a mask before, you've dreamed of something like this. Well, I've only used it for one evening, and I'm sold. This thing rocks.
For 3D shots, I like to trim my negatives into two-shot pieces, and this holder is also a great way to hold those. It can be hard to get a hinged mask to grab just one or two shots, but this magnetic mask is up to the task.
My next project involves 35mm film with exposed sprocket holes shot with my Diana F+. I'm looking forward to trying the 35mm DigitaLIZA to scan those negatives!
