(More customer reviews)It took me more than six friggin' hours to get this thing working. The disc that was sent would not work on either my desktop (Windows XP) or my laptop (Windows 7). It shouldn't be incumbent upon me to realize that I could go to their website to get a driver. But while researching possible solutions on the internet, I found that's a possibility, downloaded the driver, and it worked quickly on both computers. Now some people might shake their head as if these things should be obvious to everyone. They're not. They're only obvious after you learn them. And I'll always remember the company/product that required that lesson, and not with the warm and fuzzies.
Once working, and once I was familiar with the software, I've become an old pro with this thing. It's fast enough, and user friendly. The images are clear, and they're easy to export to my own jump drive or other file.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd spend an extra $100 to get a machine that didn't require me to guess at ways to get it working. Those six hours were hours that I couldn't afford to spend on getting this thing working properly.
