(More customer reviews)I spent a lot of time trying to find a solution that worked for a project I'm working. I needed a parallel connection for my laptop that I could plug a microcontroller programmer (Atmel's AT89ISP)into. I tried a few other items that only gave printer support, and I opted for this, even though it was a bit pricey, since it was supposed to provide a true EPP Parallel port. However, it isn't working at all for me. I'm not sure if I can blame Quatech, or if Atmel's program is just ill-prepared to use the port, but the programmer works fine on my desktop and fails miserably with the Quatech adapter.
*sigh*
