(More customer reviews)If you have someone to help you scan your slides, having a couple of extra trays makes things go much faster. The Wolverine scanner we bought only came with one slide tray. With more than one available, someone can load and unload trays while you scan the images, making the process go about twice as fast.
If you are scanning more than a few slides, extra trays are a must in my opinion.
