(More customer reviews)Software is terrible - scan to PC never worked. Formatter board went out twice. Found out from local HP tech that they had a recall. HP Tech Support told me the problem was due to printer plugged into surge protector. Terrible, terrible customer/tech support. Cannot fax from PC. Must fax from flatbed. Very cheap plastic parts that break easily. HP is, so far, refusing to refund my money due to purchase being more than 21 days ago (from HP online store).
This is very unfortunate. I spec'ed and evaluated HP printers for many years while working in IT for a global company. How far this company has fallen. While I don't expect this to be a workhorse printer given the price and category, I would expect it to work for more than several months and work as advertised. Just purchased a Brother 8890 from Newegg. Hoping this works better.
