(More customer reviews)I bought this to turn my old slides into pictures and transfer them online. Works great except, and this is a big except, you used kodak film to make your slides! Kodak was the most common film in the 60's and 70's for taking pictures. And almost everyone made slides because they lasted longer than prints. None of my slides taken with Kodak film will scan. They all come out as if they are a negative. I called the company and they first tried to tell me that I could fix this with photo shop! Not!!! I called back and spoke to someone else who, in passing, said that there was some trouble with Kodak. At that time, I had no idea what was wrong. Now I do. If the slide was taken using some other film, this machine works great. But if you are like me, and most of your precious memories were captured by Kodak, don't buy this converter. Keep looking.
