(More customer reviews)I loved the concept of scanning and storing my receipts, but I was skeptical and anxious that this scanner would truly suit my needs....I pictured it becoming another "toy" that didn't quite work out as hoped. To fuel my concern, there are some negative reviews of previous versions of the scanner including the fact that you have to edit some information (including Vendor name, amount, etc).
I bought it anyway and I am thrilled with how it's working. I have found the scans to be about 90% accurate. The editing, when necessary, is quick and easy.
I am sure that some "high tech" people will find some things to criticize how the software works and exports to various programs. However, I don't always know how what tax form to file certain receipts under anyway, so I don't get fancy --I just file all business receipts in a folder and will print out for my accountant. In other words, the basic functioning works great.
I'm terrible with receipts and paperwork, and this gives me a place to store everything and not lose it! This is a HUGE time saver for me and I am de-cluttering my life! I scan everything that I don't want to lose.
