(More customer reviews)This product does save time BUT, I use it on a mac using Delicious Library 2 (This was based on their recommendation) in which lies the problem. It's works extremely well after you connect it as a bluetooth device through the macs "setup bluetooth device assistant" then you can launch the Delicious 2 app and activate the bluetooth scanner. That is simple, straight forward and easy to do, the first time. After a few minutes of scanning the scanner disconnects from the computer most of the time in mid-scan of a book shelf or what ever pile of bar coded media you have. You have to rescan for the device on your mac, set it up as a bluetooth device/browse AGAIN, shut down delicious library and relaunch to recognize the bluetooth connection AGAIN and continuing from where you left off. I even went to the out-dated support site to double check drives and firmware to no benefit. I'm not sorry for the purchase. I does eliminate tons of cataloging and typing BUT, I have to link it two to three time in a half hour of time spent with this thing to get 40-50 books entered. Not a Mac friendly as advertised.
