(More customer reviews)I acquired two of these scanners in order to replace several Kodak i40 scanners when I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. I had been very happy with the i40's and looked forward to this next generation. Although the i40's were great, these a simply miles ahead of them, and the other similar Fujitsu scanners I had been using. In fact, the literature from Kodak does not do them justice. They have changed the way my law practice works. The Kodak i1220's are so fast and simple to use that we now immediately scan and save everything. Instead of copying and mailing copies of correspondence to clients to keep them informed, we simply email a scan pdf to them, saving significant time and postage in the process. When a client calls I no longer have to go to the files and retrieve the documents in order to review them, but just simply call up the scan on the network. Finally, when my anti-virus program caused a problem on the installation of one of the machines, Kodak tech support was easily reachable and didn't quit until everything was working perfectly. These scanners, as well as Kodak support, could not be better.
