This product does not scan negatives, nor slides. I checked with the manufacturer,
and it only scans 5x7 printed images or smaller.
It does not even mention negative or slide scanning in the description.
The items that Pandigital manufactures for Kodak that end in a 1, like the P461, or the P811,
scan negatives, but products that end in 0 do not, such as, the P460 or P570.
I tried to get Amazon to change the title, but they wrote back and changed it like this:

Your suggestion: Kodak P570 Personal 5x7 Photo Scanner, 600 dpi max.
Amended value: Kodak P570 5x7 Personal Photo, Slide and Negative Scanner
It is important that folks know it is a 600dpi photo scanner, that it does not
have the resolution 1200dpi required to process negatives nor slides.
